Analytics privacy and choices

Privacy-limited Google Analytics is enabled by default on Brinker Advisor's owned RATES, ECON, and BOOKS sites. One shared preference applies across those three subdomains in this browser. Disabling analytics stops future events and clears BrinkerAdvisor GA cookies that the page can access.

What aggregate measurement may include

Page views, engaged reading, navigation, and bounded campaign labels.
Book cards viewed for at least 1.5 seconds at 50% visibility.
Opaque catalog identifiers, category, bookshelf, sort order, coarse result-count buckets, and filter counts.
Book selections and outbound retailer intent. A retailer click is not evidence of a purchase.

What is excluded

Names, email addresses, subscriber records, financial inputs, raw search text, query strings, and URL fragments are not sent. Google Signals, advertising storage, ad personalization, and user-ID collection remain off.

Editorial use

Book demand analysis uses aggregate, exposure-adjusted and statistically shrunk signals. It informs editorial review only; it does not automatically change recommendations, rankings, or bookshelves.

Retention and review

Analytics access is private and limited to Brinker Advisor's owner. Planned operating settings retain GA4 event data for 14 months and aggregate warehouse partitions for up to 400 days, subject to platform controls. Aggregate reporting is reviewed for privacy and data quality before use.
